UPDATED: December 15, 2016; Houston, Texas – Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation was thrilled to receive a $2601.37 donation from Tanger Outlets Houston from their 2016 PinkStyle campaign. The campaign, which runs every year to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, aims to provide funds to both a national and local beneficiary supporting organizations in the breast cancer arena. As this was the 2nd year that Tanger Outlets partnered with the Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation as the local beneficiary, a cumulative donation of $5,029.18 has been made from the PinkStyle campaign.

ABOUT THE HOLLY ROSE RIBBON FOUNDATION: The Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation was established in 2004 in honor of Holly Harwood Skolkin and now in her memory by well-known, board certified Houston plastic surgeon, Dr. Franklin Rose and Silhouette Artist Cindi Harwood Rose, The Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation provides free reconstructive surgery to post-cancer patients who are not able to afford health insurance.
Cindi Rose’s sister, Holly Harwood Skolkin, was diagnosed with breast cancer and recently passed after a long courageous battle with this terrible disease. After learning of their sister’s illness and that more than 45 million such Americans are without health insurance, Dr. Franklin and Cindi Rose made it their mission to help those in need.
A mission that is growing
The Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that provides 100% free reconstructive surgery to dozens of un-insured and under-insured post-cancer patients at no-cost to the survivor each year. We also offer grief counseling, college scholarships to cancer survivors or to those who have lost a parent to cancer, and arts in medicine activities for children currently undergoing cancer treatment at area hospitals.
