Dr. Franklin Rose teams up with Rana Design Studio to provide colorful silk masks for front-line heroes

HOUSTON, TX; May 2020 – Now that the CDC has recommended wearing masks in public, finding beautiful & practical solutions can be a challenge!

Dr. Franklin Rose has teamed up with local Houston designer Shehla Rana to donate high-end fashionable masks pro-bono for front-line heroes in the Texas Medical Center and beyond.

Says Dr. Rose, “Our front line heroes want to wear something nice when out and about. They want to look fashionable when out of the hospital environment.”

Always on the front line of beauty; Houston plastic surgeon Dr. Franklin Rose will be gifting these fun and fashionable masks pro-bono to Houston medical professionals. 

Among the first to receive a mask is The Methodist Hospital anesthesiologist Romy Lauren Mitchell, MD pictured below: “I definitely plan on practicing safe social distancing in public at restaurants and shopping for a while, whether we face shortages of masks in the future or not, remaining cautious and safe to protect myself and others too.”
