Founded in 2005 by well-known, board certified Houston Plastic Surgeon Dr. Franklin Rose and Silhouette Artist Cindi Harwood Rose, the Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides free reconstructive surgery to post-cancer patienst who are not able to afford health insurance.

The primary focus of the Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation is for breast cancer survivors, but we also support hospital art programs for children with cancer, provide free breast reconstruction surgery to the uninsured, as well as aid with outreach, research, and grief counseling programs.

The Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation also grants college scholarships through the Foundation Scholarship Program, along with expansion of the outreach program, benefits students that either suffer from cancer or have lost a parent due to breast cancer.

On September 14th, the Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation was recognized for our “selfless dedication to helping cancer patients.”  Mayor Annise Parker and the City of Houston commended the foundation and extended their best wishes for our continued success.

Thank you to our friends, volunteers, sponsors, and chairs for helping us to realize Holly’s vision and continue to make a difference for survivors of cancer.
