She recently chaired an India themed Bollywood Blitz event with cardiologist, Dr. Monica Patel, to end human sex trafficking. This is one of the many charities that Cindi Harwood Rose has tried to address with her never ending passion to make the world more beautiful. Not only does she donate her time to create fundraisers for so many causes— Arthritis, March of Dimes, Texas Children’s Hospital, City Artworks, The Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Susan B. Komen Foundation, American Diabetes, Cystic Fibrosis, The Houston Grand Opera, The Houston Ballet, The MET, Museum of Fine Arts, Blanton Museum, Brooklyn Art in the Park, American Defamation League, Hadassah, Asian American Family Service, Human Rights Movement, she donates her remarkable silhouette hand-cut profiles to help raise funds and to improve the quality of life. Proceeds from Bollywood Blitz benefited Enslave No More and  The Hope House located on 32 acres in Southern Louisiana where sexual victims are taken to safety and given food, shelter, education and rehabilitation.

“Sex trafficking is a 350 billion a year business. Of the 6,000 runaways that find their way to Houston each year, one in three is sex trafficked within 48 hours of arrival,” informs Cindi Rose.
