The Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation has begun its “Arts in Medicine” program with silhouette artist Cindi Harwood Rose, giving heirloom gifts to the cancer children and their families.  In addition, Cindi made Father’s Day cards with some of the children, and discussed what activities they would enjoy doing when well.  The children and parents felt hope.  The project includes water-colors, origami, and holiday arts, none toxic, all to decorate the rooms, and provide empowerment to the children and families.

The Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation celebrated Father’s Day at Texas Children’s Hospital for The Arts in Medicine Program, featuring silhouette artist Cindi Harwood Rose, who not only gifted the children and their parents with a hand-cut silhouette, she created an art project with them.  The non-profit will continue various art programs year around at hospitals to make children feel better, leaving them empowered, and giving them a gift for their room and their homes, when they get well.

Since 16, artist and Silhouette artist Cindi Harwood (now Rose) has visited hospitals to paint murals on the walls, and to teach free art lessons to the children.  The group art lessons not only decorate the room and give the family an heirloom gift; they help the children forget their pain and have hope.  Other program projects include creating holiday cards, water coloring, making Easter baskets with paper plates, and origami.  As CEO of https://hollyroseribbon.com/ Cindi brings wellness to children and the families suffering with critical illness and cancer, to provide wellness, support, outreach, and hope.
