Changing lives, one surgery at a time

About The Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation
Dr. Franklin Rose & Cindi-Harwood Rose

Founded in 2005 by well-known, board certified Houston plastic surgeon, Dr. Franklin Rose and Silhouette Artist Cindi Harwood Rose, The Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation provides free reconstructive surgery to post-cancer patients who are not able to afford health insurance.

Cindi Rose’s sister, Holly Harwood Skolkin, was diagnosed with breast cancer and recently passed after a long courageous battle with this terrible disease.

After learning of their sister’s illness and that more than 45 million such Americans are without health insurance, Dr. Franklin and Cindi Rose made it their mission to help those in need. Today, the Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) organization, underwrites reconstructive surgery for dozens of these patients each year.

A mission that is growing

A mission that’s growing. Since its inception in Houston, Texas, in 2005, the Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation has helped breast cancer survivors, including women, men and children receive free reconstructive surgery.
